The lush green paddy fields in the backdrop is the result of irrigation tank constructed under NREGA . This tank is contructed in the village Hapamuni under Chundri panchayat in Ghaghra Block. This tank is constructed in the plot of Sitaram Oraon, a tribal farmer of the village. This tank is a blessing for the hitherto water starved fields . The estimated cost of this scheme is Rs. 5,72,000. The scheme was executated by the local committee of beneficiaries consisting of Sitaram Oraon, Patiram Oraon and five other members. Sitaram Oraon has pledged this tank for the use of the whole village community . The water of this tank provide drinking water to the village cattle.
